It should come as no surprise that we're obsessed with Lingerie... shocker, right? So much so, that we want to show it off ALL the time, not just keep it under wraps.

Some of our favourite (and sexiest) items in our closets are Lingerie. Sadly, these get demoted to the back of the wardrobe, waiting for a rainy day! Or, at the very least spend most of their time under layers of clothes.

It may seem unconventional (but hey, we're here for it) and slightly challenging, but there are actually tonnes of sexy and stylish ways to wear your lingerie as outerwear. Celebs have been doing it for years and there's no reason why you can't too.

Slip dresses were the peak of 90's fashion (think Clueless) and we're SO glad to see this decade making a massive comeback at the moment. Silk slips are beyond stylish and can be a sexy solution for any occasion. Dress it down, layered over a white tee, teamed with sneakers for a casual day look, or throw on heels and hoops for a night out.

There is no denying that Bra's are THE MOST beautiful items in any womans closet (fight us on it!) so why should they be hidden under clothing?! Bra's are truely works of art, and are often designed that way. With hours and hours of careful consideration, not to mention the attention to detail and specificity in selecting fabrics, fine silks and the most delicate of lace. We could go on, but you get it... let's show these masterpieces off! 

Delicate lace bralettes worn with well-structured pant suits have been a runway trend for a while now and make such a sophisticated outfit that can transition from day to night. Or opt for a slightly more casual but equally stylish (and HOT) look by layering a black lace bralette overtop of an oversized white button up shirt.

Bodysuits are a trend that is not going anywhere (hallelujah!). In the past decade, bodysuits have become a staple wardrobe item because of their versatility and more importantly, ability to look good on EVERY body type. The Kardashians have long been the ultimate advocates for bodysuits and it's easy to see why...a bodysuit is a curves best friend! Figure hugging, and smoothing in all the right places.

Sure, All those cami and short sets you buy to sleep in are super cute for pyjamas, but who says you can't wear your sexy cami top on date night when everything else you own is just too blah. We challenge you to make a silk cami look bad. It just doesn't! Layer with a jacket over top, tucked into a skirt or jeans, no one will be questioning whether you were only meant to wear your cami in the bedroom, it was made to be displayed! Not to mention, it feels so damn silky smooth!

This has surely got to be our FAVOURITE lingerie fashion trend. The sheer bodysuit. It combines all of our favourite things about a bodysuit (obsession explained earlier in this blog) with one of the most popular fashion trends at the moment, mesh. If you don’t want to go full on bra or bralette as a shirt, putting a sheer shirt on over it gives you just enough to show off that bra or bralette while giving you a little more coverage.

In our eyes this is what it's all about - you get to show off not one, but TWO of your favourite lingerie items in a super stylish way. It adds just enough to make it appropriate to wear basically anywhere but still shows off your gorgeous bra underneath. OR say f**k it, and go bra-less a la Kendall Jenner, your only choice will be hearts or stars for your pasties?

Now that's covered, let's get into silk sleepwear styling. Who ever said that a silk sleep shirt, or pants for that matter are purely for sleeping? We're not having it! Silk is such a glam fabric and can (and should) be shown off! A silk shirt looks simple and stylish tucked into tailored pants, a skirt or jeans, perfect for a business meeting or a night out with the girls. Alternatively, the latest look we're absolutely OBSESSED with is silk pants.

Firstly, because: comfort. Let's be real, that's #1 on our priorities. Give your silk PJ pants an instant glow-up by teaming with a sky-high heel. We've been seeing everyone from Kim Kardashian to Celine Dion stepping out in luxurious silk pants, and not just for a glam in-flight look, but on red carpets too! This is a trend we are prayingggg will stick around. After all, anything that is comfortable enough to double as sleepwear or underwear is a WIN in our books.
