LICENCE TO KILL - the story behind KISSKILL Lingerie 1st collection.
Deciding to start a label, I thought one day was a good idea - One problem, what do you call the brand. The name of any brand is so important, its your identity & must suit any item that is designed or sold under that label.
Most names I thought of were already trademarked, it can be a bit of disheartening process. When i thought of Kisskill it was based on the idea of a woman who is sophisticated, confident, sensual & stylish. The kind of woman that would be described as 'Killer' in the way of her appearance & attitude.
My mood-board for the brand helped me to design the base the first collection. A few images of Bond girls appeared on my mood board & inspired the collection "Licence to Kill"
The stories are mostly named after Bond girls or women I know that fit into this theme. Tilly, Solitaire, Ruby & Bond are some of the names that are included in the kisskill-lingerie first collection.
